Lulu La Delizia is an authentic Italian restaurant located in the Subiaco area of Perth, Australia. Known for its absolutely divine hand-made pasta, this restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best in Perth. The friendly service and extensive wine list make it a perfect choice for those looking for a memorable dining experience. While not the cheapest option for a casual mid-week meal, Lulu La Delizia is definitely worth the price. Situated in a charming lane way, parking can be found in nearby streets. The pasta here is like no other in Perth, reminiscent of the dishes found in Italy - perfectly al dente and consistently delicious. The intimate atmosphere and attentive service ensure a delightful evening, although some guests may wish for larger portion sizes. With a menu that changes periodically, there is always something new to discover at Lulu La Delizia.

Reviews
Despite its high ratings and awards, my experience at this restaurant left me scratching my head. The prices were through the roof, but the food didn't match the hype. Each dish felt like a letdown, lacking the wow factor that I expected.
The menu boasted a variety of options, but nothing stood out as exceptional. It felt like I was paying for the reputation rather than the actual culinary experience. The flavors were ordinary at best, and the presentation didn't justify the hefty price tags.
The ambiance and service were fine, but they couldn't compensate for the disappointment on my plate. Leaving the restaurant, I couldn't shake the feeling of being overcharged for a subpar meal. Despite the accolades, it was an underwhelming experience that made me question the basis of those high ratings. Sometimes, even with all the awards, a restaurant might miss the mark, and unfortunately, this one did.
Absolutely define hand made pasta, I could every single dish on the menu and it's definitely one of Perth's best.
Friendly service, great wine list - not cheap so don't go expecting a casual mid-week eat but we'll worth it.
Located in a Subiaco lane way, so parking is best in nearby streets.
Great pasta, nice intimate atmosphere and good service. Lulu la delizia is one of the only restaurants I’ve found in perth who does the pasta like you’d find it in Italy - perfectly Al dente and always consistent in the multiple times I’ve dined here.
Only complaint I’d have is that I wish the portions are bigger because they are always so bloody good. Menu changes now and then so it is always worth revisiting to see what they’ve added and/or try any new specials.
Don't come here for service.
You'd expect to be greeted when you enter a restaurant but not here. The whole kitchen just stares at you while their front of house staff just did their own thing.
Restaurant was slightly busy during dinner service but there were plenty of staff so we are not too sure with the lack of service.
Almost all the wait staff looked like they weren't keen on working that night. Same goes for the head chef.
Food was below average. You'd expect something decent for the price they charge.
We ordered pasta of the day and and clam spaghettini. The clam came out raw as if they just got them out fresh from the ocean - see picture attached.
I am all for supporting local businesses but if you can't maintain decent service and choosing who you want to serve based on skin colour I am afraid you should just close shop.
I was looking forward to eating at Lulu after hearing some good reviews. The service was prompt and wait persons were friendly.
The first dish.. cured king fish I thought was a little rubbery and blend instead of the soft fresh taste of fish.
The spaghettini with clams was jammed packed with flavour.
The veal ragu was rather ordinary and slightly on the salty side. The serving size was small for the price we paid.
The tiramisu was more cream than cake with not very much coffee.
Overall an ok experience.
The service throughout the night was excellent. There weren't many vegetarian or vegan options on the menu, however the first question we were asked was whether we had any allergies they needed to be aware of - always a good sign when the chef and waitstaff are willing to alter the menu to cater to their customers' needs. Pricing was in line with other fine dining restaurants.
Service 5/5
Food 5/5
Atmosphere 5/5
Saturday evening staff were ALL so lovely. They were friendly, fun, professional, genuine, and welcoming. Talking to them felt like talking to a good friend. The service they provided was sensational. I felt very spoilt even though they were just doing traditional duties of a restaurant. How they went about doing it had so much heart and soul in it. They were attentive and took extra care in their duties.
We were recommended the chefs menu and it was exquisite. The flavours and textures of the entrees were unmatched. They were delicate and beautiful yet complex. It reminded me of my experiences at Wildflower, only the service here was a thousand times better. Not to mention the food too!
This was my first time having a meal here. My first experience was over three years ago, however, I only ordered myself a tiramisu. And I’d say, the tiramisu I had last night was exactly how it tasted three years ago. The nostalgia with every bite reminded me of how GOOD it is. My partner and I have been having Italian food for the last few weeks, and this has got to be my favourite out of the lot.
The experience was a whole was very refreshing. I haven’t had a positive experience like this in Perth in a long time.
Thank you to all your lovely staff Saturday evening, for such a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning. 🩷
Loud music to start off with. The table was wobbly. I mean wobbly like you cannot lean over on it. Told the staff and he said he couldn’t fix it as if it was supposed to be. Had 89buck chef’s selection, the food was served like factory conveyer, way too quick, they served 2nd pasta before we finish the first one, well i presume we were eating too slow? So they had to push? Anyway i tried this place for special night but will never return. Giving 2stars because wine was nice. Oh they don’t have any local reds, just let you know.
